The Research Group on Polymer Technology and Sustainability (POTS) of the Department of Chemical Engineering of the Universitat de València focuses its research activity on the design, development, characterization and validation of preparation and functionalization technologies based on polymeric structures with a multisectorial character, with a focus on sustainability within the concept of circular economy.
EFIQ RESEARCH GROUP:
The EFIQ research group of the Department of Chemical Engineering (UVEG) is dedicated to the thermodynamic study of mixtures whose separation is of industrial interest: experimental determination and modeling of equilibrium data, and pilot plant testing. The research focuses on the selection of solvents with low environmental impact, such as ionic liquids, for use in extractive distillation and liquid-liquid extraction processes.
